We can save time through RSS because we no need to visit each site individually. The two main variations of RSS contain an RDF-based specification and a non-RDF XML specification. RSS is currently used for a number of applications, as well as news and other headline syndication, web log syndication, and the spread of software update lists.

With RSS, we don’t want to open website or open our inboxes to get our latest news and updates. Once we enter into the Rich Site Summary feed the news comes to us automatically. The RSS Reader will collect news in the background and inform us with a popup in our system dish when there’s new information available.
