The former Pakistani president ,Parvez Musharraf visited New Delih,India.On 7 march 2009.He requested the Indian government to meet Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh and a member of the congress,Sonia Gandhi.His plea to meet Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh was denied by the government of India .He also gave special invitation to meet former Indian prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee .Mr.Parvez Musharraf was aked to stay in the limits and boundires of delhi.He was not allowed any access outside New Delhi.
He also did not get a very tight security as he arrived in India.In an interview while he was in Delhi ,He said that the present government of Zardari is not performing well .The Indian government did not give him any kind of special attention,infact the government of Manmohan Singh was reluctant to host Parvez Musharraf as a guest when he had visited New Delhi,India .Parvez musharraf warned India and Pakistan that there might be more karkil war possibily if India and Pakistan do not find the proper solution for Kashmir problem.
