Obama Keeps A Distance From Iran

American President Barack Obama has decided to extend US sanctions to Iran for at least another year. According to the president, the policies of Iran pose a definite threat to US in many ways.

After the 1979 hostage crisis US had put tight sanctions on Iran. From that time there has been no progress on the matter. This decision was taken now because of the expiry of a 1995 made law. But Obama definitely wants to make his relations better with Iran and planning some other measures, if the situations get improved.

As per Obama, Iran’s nuclear weapon deal option is posing an extra ordinary threat to US’s foreign policies. The Obama administration is conducting policy review exercise, but the results are not yet revealed. Although Iran says that the nuclear energy programme will be used to generate energy, Obama is not in a mood to allow a nuclear deal.
