Mobile IP is used to allow mobile device users to shift from one network to another network while maintaining a permanent IP address. It is an Internet Engineering Task Force. Mobile IP is most frequently establish in wired and wireless environments where users need to carry their mobile devices from corner to corner with multiple LAN subnets with different IP addresses. Mobile IP works basically in two different bodies were as home agent and a foreign agent.
In home agent mobile nodes information are stored permanently in a home agent network. But in foreign agent the mobile nodes information are stored only after visiting its network. The main purpose of mobile IP is even when the device is not connected to the home network it allows the forwarding on internet traffic to the mobile device. In a wireless technology the mobile IP surroundings are mostly used. Using the Mobile IP device we can move from network to network between buildings on a large campus as using with our device.
